We are seeking an experienced and innovative Brand Manager to lead the development and execution of high-quality, in-market marketing and communications activities.

The role focuses on translating global brand strategy into locally authentic campaigns while maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including agencies. You will drive brand positioning, competitive analysis, and marketing activation strategies to enhance the brand’s presence and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the Brand’s Annual Marketing & Communications Plan, challenging industry norms.
  • Lead campaign creation and execution with internal and external partners to elevate the brand.
  • Adapt global assets to local markets while ensuring relevance and authenticity.
  • Monitor and analyse competitor activities and emerging marketing trends to stay ahead.
  • Measure marketing performance and recommend improvements against KPIs.
  • Manage advertising campaigns, digital media, social media, trade shows, POS materials, and events.
  • Create briefing documentation for marketing projects and collaborate with external agencies.
  • Plan and manage the Brand’s annual marketing budget.
  • Ensure all communications align with global brand strategies.
  • Oversee brand content on websites and digital platforms, ensuring it is up-to-date and relevant.
  • Produce the brand’s printed and digital customer magazine and calendars.
  • Lead brand and marketing efforts for product launches.
  • Manage ROI measurement for all brand activities.
  • Contribute to the Brand, Marketing & Communications team, and undertake additional project work as required.
  • Handle administrative functions such as expenses and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of six years’ experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Strong agency experience, either in-house or through managing agencies.
  • Proven digital marketing experience and a strong understanding of marketing communications across multiple channels.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.
  • Budget management experience and familiarity with managing marketing spend.
  • Knowledge of the Australian truck market is desirable but not essential.
