Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and secure new clients across multiple industries, with a focus on high-growth sectors like hospitality, events, healthcare, and mining. Use your existing network of industry contacts to open doors and close deals quickly.
- Manage and grow a select portfolio of high-value clients, ensuring they continue to receive exceptional service and fresh produce solutions. You’ll develop long-lasting relationships that ensure retention and client satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to stay ahead of trends, competitors, and customer needs. Leverage this data to develop tailored growth strategies and effectively position Simon George & Sons in the Adelaide market.

- Work closely with the internal teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals. Share valuable insights and contribute to the development of cohesive strategies that benefit both clients and the company.
- Use CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) to track sales activities, monitor customer interactions, and generate actionable insights. Your ability to manage your time effectively and stay organized will ensure the smooth running of operations.
- You’ll come to the table with an established network in industries like hospitality, events, healthcare, mining, or similar. Your contacts will play a pivotal role in opening new doors and helping us gain a foothold in Adelaide’s fresh produce market.
- You’ve worked in a sales-driven environment, with a demonstrated history of successfully identifying and converting new opportunities into long-term relationships.
- You thrive on building meaningful, lasting relationships. Whether it’s negotiating a deal or managing a portfolio of clients, you know how to keep people happy while achieving results.
- You’re proactive, independent, and have a strong hunger for success. You're motivated by growth and take ownership of your goals and outcomes.
- You’re proficient in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and comfortable using the Microsoft Office Suite. You understand the importance of data management and reporting in driving business success.
- Previous experience in the food service industry or fresh produce will give you a leg up, but it’s not essential. What’s more important is your ability to build relationships and develop opportunities across diverse sectors.
