Key responsibilities include
- Provide strategic guidance and sourcing for a key Corporate Category.
- Influence and support key stakeholders to improve procurement practices and compliance across the business.
- Manage both Pre and Post award procurement activities.
- Develops negotiation strategies and leads negotiations with suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
- Assist in formulating forward-thinking strategies such as supplier consolidation and category management plans.
- Contribute to and continually develop contract and supplier performance management strategies.
- Provide advice for matters relating to procurement processes and contracts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in Category Management / Procurement Manager / Senior Specialist role conducting pre and post award procurement activities.
- Strong understanding of end to end category management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Tertiary qualifications are desirable.
