Proudly Australian, LPE was founded in 2012 and is based at Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Our core business is Embedded Network (EN) Management.
LPE provides local EN solutions to over 371 communities and 25,000 customers through Queensland and New South Wales. Our solutions include providing electricity, hot water, solar and battery systems through long-term supply agreements with communities and customers living and working in townhouses, apartments, commercial and residential developments.
The Role
As the CFO you will be a “trusted advisor” to the CEO, working closely with the Board and Executive Leadership Team (ELT), playing a pivotal role in shaping LPE’s financial strategy, optimising capital management, and ensuring strong financial governance.
As CFO, you will bring an independent, strategic perspective to LPE’s key business drivers, investment opportunities, and financial performance. You will enjoy working strategically whilst being data driven and across the detail supporting strategic decision making, efficiency opportunities and growth plans.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building credibility with the Board, ELT as well as external investors and stakeholders.
Working collaboratively through your team, you will shape the company’s financial strategy, manage financial operations, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
You will be responsible for financial strategy, planning, risk management, and operational improvements, ensuring LPE’s continued growth and success.

We are seeking a commercially astute, results-driven CFO with a strong track record in financial leadership. You thrive in transformational environments and enjoy driving meaningful organisational change. You will have commercial responsibility for managing private infrastructure, and strong research, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience in a publicly listed company, and the Australian Energy Market, including energy trading and/or procurement, is preferred.
A Bachelor of Business (Finance) or relevant formal qualification is required.
