Your Role:
As a Claims Officer, you will play a crucial role in assisting RACQ members with their property insurance claims, particularly in the early stages of lodgement and assessment. This is an end-to-end case management role, ensuring claims are handled efficiently during this critical period.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess incoming insurance claims
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to enquiries
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies
- Identify and escalate potential fraudulent claims
- Work collaboratively with the team to improve processes
- Strong customer service experience – call centre background highly regarded
- Previous claims experience (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficiency in MS Office and business systems
- Adaptability and a team-oriented mindset
