The responsibilities of the Special Projects Advisor include:
Contract Management
- Develop and implement robust management processes.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and identify potential risks.
- Work closely with legal teams to review and negotiate contract terms.
- Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with project objectives.
- Provide guidance on pricing structures, payment terms, and other commercial aspects.
- Lead negotiations with Contractor, Subcontractors, and other stakeholders for major variations.
- Foster positive relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
- Resolve commercial negotiations and issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the financial implications of contractual variations and procurement.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts and commercial agreements to develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence and communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with the rail or transportation industry is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
