Troocoo is proud to be partnered with an innovative manufacturing company based in Brisbane’s inner northern suburbs.

The Position

 
The Contract Manager will support the Contract team in administering, managing, and maintaining contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures. You will provide expert advice on contractual issues, ensuring effective management and mitigation of contractual and commercial business risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and negotiate amendments, variations, and contract change proposals.
  • Participate in contract negotiations for new and existing business.
  • Prepare and coordinate contract change proposals and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers regarding contractual matters.
  • Review correspondence related to commercial issues, including performance.
  • Administer contracts to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
  • Assist with the establishment of adequate risk management or allocation plans
  • Ensure compliance with all Export and Import Control requirements.
  • Maintain a register of contract information and safeguard original contractual instruments.
  • Train personnel on contractual matters and develop user guides and training materials.
  • Provide advice on liabilities, indemnities, and insurance in accordance with company policy.
  • Offer contractual support and advice on existing contracts.
 
Skills & Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in a law or business-related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in contract management and administration within a highly regulated environment.
  • Resources, Defence, or heavy industry experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
  • Working knowledge of Australian Defence contracting policies and procedures, including the ASDEFCON contracting suite, is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
