The Role
As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting and advising key stakeholders across the business. Your focus will be on fostering strong relationships, ensuring compliance, and driving initiatives that enhance their workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to understand and address their HR needs.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on ER/IR matters, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including performance management, grievances, and disputes.
- Lead the delivery of the full HR lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding.
- Drive workforce planning and talent management initiatives to align with business objectives.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support a high-performing and compliant workplace.
- Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures, redundancies, and culture transformation.
- Analyse HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will have a strong foundation in HR with particular expertise in ER/IR as well as end-to-end Talent Acquisition. You are a proactive and solutions-focused professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You bring a collaborative mindset and a proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Solid experience in a HR generalist or business partnering role, with a focus on ER/IR as well as Talent Acquisition.
- Strong understanding of Australian employment law and industrial relations frameworks.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and problem-solving ability.
