About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide both strategic and operational human resources support across our pharmacy network. This role will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, offering expert guidance on HR policies, workforce planning, leadership development, and employee relations.
Working closely with Pharmacy Operations Leaders, Directors, and Store Leaders, the HR Business Partner will play a key role in driving performance, engagement, and compliance, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s values and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnering
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to business leaders on people-related matters.
- Coach and support leaders to enhance team engagement and performance outcomes.
- Lead succession planning and talent development initiatives.
- Support organisational design and workforce planning to align with business goals.
- Drive change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and engagement.
- Manage complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions and grievances.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards, and internal policies.
- Represent the organisation in Fair Work Commission and WorkCover proceedings when required.
- Oversee WorkCover claims and support return-to-work strategies.
- Monitor incident reporting and compliance across the network.
- Design and facilitate leadership training sessions for Store and Pharmacy Operations Leaders.
- Contribute to HR policy development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead or participate in HR projects to enhance service delivery and organisational performance.
About You Qualifications & Experience
- Tertiary or postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably in retail, healthcare, or pharmacy.
- Strong expertise in employment law, Modern Awards, and Fair Work Act compliance.
- Experience in workforce planning, change management, and HR policy implementation.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within deadlines.

- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
