About the Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting, supporting both strategic and operational decision-making. This role is ideal for someone looking to further their career in management accounting while remaining hands-on in financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month-end tasks including journals, general ledger reconciliations, and P&L and balance sheet reporting
- Preparation and delivery of monthly management reporting with analysis and meaningful commentary
- Planning, forecasting, and financial presentation support for business units and senior stakeholders
- Promote strong cost control and budget ownership culture across the organisation
- Partner with operational teams to help interpret financial data and drive performance
- Contribute to business improvement initiatives and enhance reporting processes
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and CA/CPA accreditation
- Demonstrated experience in management accounting; cost accounting experience highly regarded
- Background in the manufacturing sector preferred
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the business
- Solid Excel capability and ERP system experience (SAP advantageous)
