Join an incredible not-for-profit organisation committed to making a difference in the lives of Queensland’s communities. In this dynamic role, you’ll report to the Senior Manager – Corporate Communications & Media and work alongside passionate professionals to:

• Develop and execute media strategies that build awareness and protect reputation
• Drive national and local media coverage for commemorative campaigns and key initiatives
• Source and craft powerful stories that highlight real impact across Queensland  

You’ll be the go-to for media engagement, from responding to breaking news to building proactive opportunities with our PR agency and internal stakeholders. Your knack for crafting compelling copy, managing reputational risk, and fostering positive relationships will be essential.
  
What you’ll bring:

• A degree in Communications or similar
• 5+ years’ experience in media relations or corporate comms
• A strategic mindset and proven ability to drive positive media outcomes
• Experience navigating issues and reputational risk with confidence
• Passion for purpose-led work that supports real communities
