As part of a high-performance team, the Pricing Manager will play an essential role developing and refining pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and optimise commercial decision-making.
About the role:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Australian fresh produce market to inform pricing strategies and collaborate with teams to create and refine pricing for various market segments.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to assess pricing trends, competitor strategies, while utilising pricing models to determine optimal pricing and price elasticity
- Support the development of pricing structures, guidelines, and approval processes, ensuring smooth implementation of pricing updates across sales channels with clear communication to teams.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations to ensure pricing decisions align with financial goals, using data insights to adjust pricing strategies and share key financial data.
- Analyse sales, cost, and profit data to provide actionable insights for pricing adjustments and maintain dashboards to monitor pricing performance, sales trends, and market conditions.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and cost of goods sold to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
- At least 4 years of experience in pricing, sales optimisation, or a similar analytical role, ideally within a B2B environment.
- Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, revenue management, and competitive intelligence.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
- Familiarity with tools like FRESH, ZOHO, or PHOCAS is a plus.
- You will have a strategic mindset, excellent organisational skills and be able manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
