About the Program

Born out of a demand for services, this multi-year, Digital Transformation Program is part of an overarching strategy to provode better care for Queenslanders. The Program focuses effort across six new priorities which build on and strengthen the foundations laid under the previous plans. 

About the Role

As this program gets underway, this new requirement will be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Manage stakeholder relationships including acting as the key point of contact for certain stakeholder groups, leading and conducting workshops and meetings to define current state, new business processes and/or ensure business requirements are understood and documented.
  • Provide advice and guidance in defining the analysis and design methodology for the statewide program.
  • Lead the analysis of business requirements and system specifications and provide expertise to ensure specifications are aligned to business requirements.
  • Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements, configuration and integration specifications and traceability matrix.
  • Lead and manage productive workshops and technical working groups.
  • Elaborate technical requirements, in consultation with clinical, health informatics and ICT SMEs, to ensure systems are compliant with architectural, scientific, and operational standards.
Key Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing business analysis activities on large scale, complex IM/ICT program/project(s), preferably in the health care industry.
  • Demonstrated experience leading business process modelling activities and requirements definition for large scale complex organisations, preferably using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN).
  • High level knowledge and application of appropriate business analysis frameworks, and an ability to promote and provide advice on the use of appropriate techniques, methodologies, and tools, preferably aligned with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge Version 3.0 (BABOK).
