Troocoo is recruiting for a Procurement Lead within Brisbane's infrastructure sector.
In this role you will lead and support a category management team, delivering strategic procurement and supply chain outcomes. This six month contract offers competitive rates and opportunities for extension.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop, negotiate and manage and implement strategic procurement plans.
- Autonomously lead highly complex and high risk end-to-end procurement activities.
- Provide leadership and direction to the category management team.
- Develop and implement category plans to support business objectives.
- Manage commercial and contract negotiations with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Oversee industrial and operational goods and services, including facilities management, resource recovery, waste management, energy and fuel supply, bulk chemicals supply, and water meter management.
- Manage professional, technical, and corporate services, as well as materials and consumables
- Develop and implement category plans to support business objectives.
- Design, lead, and supervise tailored end-to-end category management solutions, including tender preparation, evaluation, supplier negotiations, and contract execution.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in procurement functions, with comprehensive knowledge of category planning and complex contractual arrangements ideally in the infrastructure sector.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and coach.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, driving value and delivering tailored procurement solutions.
- Strong skills in interpreting, reviewing and category management plans.
- Collaborative approach and solution focused mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder relationship, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
