About the Role
As an ICT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and closing ICT initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes. You will apply best practices and agile methodologies while collaborating with key stakeholders to manage budgets, schedules, risks, and project resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and communicate project plans, ensuring adherence to best practices and agile principles.
- Manage project budgets, conduct monthly re-forecasting, and control expenditure.
- Oversee project progress, evaluating and reporting on schedules, risks, and issues.
- Build and sustain positive stakeholder relationships, managing expectations effectively.
- Lead the preparation of procurement documentation and ensure compliance with procurement processes.
- Manage vendor and contract relationships to support project delivery.
- Strategically review and analyze business cases to determine the best delivery approach.
- Identify opportunities to improve team processes and program structures.
- Support the configuration, testing, and deployment of applications and system integrations.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams from initiation through to completion.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in project management OR substantial experience in ICT project management.
- Extensive experience delivering ICT projects in dynamic, complex environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience in business case development.
- High-level expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Knowledge of the systems delivery lifecycle and experience in applications and system integration.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams successfully.
- Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS).
