Joining a large QLD State Government Department, you will contribute to the development and implementation of a suite of contemporary initiatives focused on projects relevant to a Human Capital Management System Replacement program. You will provide high quality confidential administrative and executive support to line managers, the Director and teams within the unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality secretariat services, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and action tracking for leadership and operational meetings. Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination across departmental teams and external vendors.
- Provide reports, advice and assistance to project staff on financial, IT and administrative issues.
- Assist Managers by collating project information and providing reports.
- Use advanced software packages to provide professional presentation of documentation, including computer software applications such as word processing, electronic diaries, email and correspondence tracking systems.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination across departmental teams and external vendors.
- Experience in providing secretariat services, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and action tracking for leadership and operational meetings.
- Strong ability to analyse complex information, assess risks, and develop practical solutions to support project objectives and decision-making processes.
- Skilled in managing document storage systems (e.g., Content Manager, Teams, SharePoint) and supporting reporting, risk management, and procedural adherence.
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support the successful delivery of tasks in a dynamic environment.
