About the Role

Troocoo are proud to be recruiting a remuneration, benefits, and HR Systems Lead to drive strategic and operational excellence across compensation frameworks, HR technology, payroll services and workforce analytics.

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, this role will take a consultative approach, working closely with senior leadership to develop and implement remuneration, benefits, and HR systems strategies that align with organisational objectives. The position also oversees payroll operations, governance frameworks, and HR data analytics to ensure compliance, efficiency, and business impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remuneration & Benefits Strategy – Develop and implement contemporary reward and recognition frameworks, ensuring market competitiveness and regulatory compliance.
  • Payroll & HR Systems Management – Oversee payroll operations and HR technology platforms, driving efficiency and best practice.
  • Data & Analytics Leadership – Lead the reporting, benchmarking, and analysis of HR data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Executive Advisory & Governance – Provide expert advice to senior leadership and governance committees on remuneration structures, job evaluation processes, and salary review methodologies.
  • Compliance & Risk Management – Ensure all remuneration and payroll practices comply with employment law, taxation requirements, enterprise agreements, and governance frameworks.
  • Team Leadership – Lead and mentor a team across remuneration, benefits, and HR systems, fostering capability development and high performance.
  • Strategic HR Projects – Drive initiatives to enhance employee benefits, optimise HR processes, and improve digital HR service delivery.
About You/ Requirements

The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with deep expertise in remuneration, benefits, and HR systems, alongside strong leadership skills. Key attributes include:
  • Strong technical knowledge of job evaluation methodologies (Mercer preferred), remuneration frameworks, and total rewards strategies.
  • Experience in payroll management, HR technology platforms, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, superannuation, taxation, and workplace compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic remuneration and benefits programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with executives and senior stakeholders to align HR strategy with broader business objectives.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
