Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Experience & Satisfaction: Ensure residents have a positive experience, fostering a home-like environment and providing residents with optimal levels of choice and control.
- Care Governance: Lead the implementation of a high standard of care in line with Apollo Care policies, Aged Care Quality Standards, and NDIS Practice Standards.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and effective procurement, working closely with senior leadership to maintain financial health.
- Sales & Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for increasing occupancy, liaising with hospital discharge planners and referral partners.
- Human Resource Management: Lead recruitment, induction, training, and performance management for staff. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Hospitality Services: Oversee catering, cleaning, and laundry services, ensuring they meet the needs and preferences of residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Environmental Safety: Ensure the facility is compliant with safety regulations, maintaining a preventative maintenance program and ensuring all equipment is fit for purpose.
- Quality Management: Continuously monitor and improve the quality of care and services provided, addressing any incidents, complaints, or feedback promptly to enhance service quality.
- 5+ years of experience in a management role within the aged care sector, including at least 2 years in a residential service management role.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, management, or a related field are highly desirable, although vocational experience in a similar role will also be considered.
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse is desirable, but not essential.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and financial reports.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
- A valid Police Certificate and NDIS Worker Check.
- No prior convictions for indictable offences.
- Ability to comply with all relevant Aged Care and NDIS regulations.
