This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Internal Auditor to join a dynamic team, providing independent assurance and driving meaningful improvements across the business. You will play a key role in assessing risk and control environments across Insurance, with opportunities to support other portfolios as needed.
This role offers the autonomy to own and execute audits while collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance risk management and business performance.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and perform end-to-end insurance audits, project reviews, and other ad-hoc reviews in line with professional audit standards
- Develop and review audit scopes, risk and control matrices, and testing programs
- Work closely with Data Analytics teams to enhance audit insights and testing
- Conduct stakeholder meetings and clearly articulate audit findings and recommendations
- Perform root cause analysis to develop practical and impactful recommendations
- Track and monitor the status of audit issues and management action plans
- 5+ years’ experience in Internal or External Audit, ideally within Financial Services
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or Risk Management (IIA, ICAA, CPA preferred)
- Strong knowledge of auditing, risk management, and internal control frameworks
- Experience in data analytics audit techniques and IT control testing (desirable)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Industry knowledge in Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management, or IT sectors
