About the Role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join a reputable organisation on the Sunshine Coast. This 3-month temporary role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage a variety of bookkeeping and financial tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
  • Manage end-to-end accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and BAS preparation.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial data to support decision-making.
  • Liaise with external accountants and stakeholders as needed.
About You:
To excel in this role, you will bring:
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of Australian taxation, payroll, and compliance requirements.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • A proactive attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
