Troocoo are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join a large established team part time (3 days a week). In this role you will build and maintain partnerships between HR and management to deliver value-added HR services to the organisation. 

Key responsibilites of this role:

  • Partner with the organisations' managers to ensure they are prepared for the organisation’s future business and workforce requirements by researching and analysing emerging human resource, Work Health and Safety (WHS),recruitment, workforce and industry best practice trends and metrics, in order to develop and implement fit for purpose solutions, programs and policies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing fit-for-purpose solutions and coaching managers to improve work relationships and employee engagement, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues including show cause processes, performance management, employee complaints, independent medical examinations and rehabilitation cases across the business by conducting thorough and objective investigations and supporting leaders through the process.
  • Lead, co-ordinate and monitor activities and initiatives in line with the organisations' Work Health and Safety (WHS) management systems. This includes (but is not limited to): WHS registers, records, WHS committees, reference materials, and reporting, as well health and well-being programs and other activities whilst keeping abreast of changes in WHS legislations and codes of practice.
  • Prepare and present complex submissions, briefings, reports and correspondence on workforce management issues and consult with senior management in relation to the recommendations (where appropriate).
  • Provide accurate and professional written and verbal advice regarding legislative and HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • .Maintain in-depth knowledge of legislative requirements related to day-today management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance partnering with the legal department where required.
  • Contribute to and facilitate activities which lead to improvements in effectiveness and efficiency of human resource management services, products and processes.
  • Represent the organisation at external events when required.
