As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions across web/desktop applications, web services, and batch jobs. Leveraging your expertise in C#, Microsoft .NET framework, and SQL Server, you will drive high-quality outcomes, solve complex problems, and provide technical leadership to the development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ICT solutions using C#, .NET framework, SQL Server, and related technologies.
- Translate business needs into system requirements and specifications.
- Provide technical analysis, design, and prototyping of solutions.
- Ensure quality, performance, and security of developed applications.
- Monitor emerging technologies to improve tools, techniques, and processes.
- Engage in technical leadership, mentoring team members as required.
- Proven experience in solution design and development with Microsoft technologies (.NET, C#, SQL Server).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality system solutions in an ICT project environment.
- Strong skills in software development, release management, and system integration.
- Experience with Azure, PowerShell, and scripting languages.
- Ability to monitor emerging technologies and translate them into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with Configuration Management practices and tools.
- Initial on-site requirement for the first 6 weeks (Canberra, Brisbane, or Melbourne) before transitioning to flexible working arrangements (minimum 3 days per week onsite).
- Baseline security clearance is required – candidates must be able to obtain this clearance prior to the start date.
