In this role, you will take ownership of key statutory reporting processes, provide expert technical accounting advice, and play a vital role in the ongoing enhancement of the Group’s accounting policies.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee the preparation and delivery of statutory financial reports for the Group’s subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with reporting standards.
• Support the Group’s half-year and annual consolidated financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business divisions, providing expert guidance on technical accounting matters to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, ensuring adherence to evolving regulatory and IFRS requirements.
• Partner closely with external auditors, influencing discussions on complex technical issues and ensuring a smooth audit process.
• Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement within financial reporting and accounting policy frameworks.
• Support ongoing initiatives related to the optimisation of the Group’s legal entity structure.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

• CA/CPA qualification with 7+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, statutory accounts, and technical accounting.
• Financial services experience preferred but not essential.
• A solid track record of interpreting and applying IFRS and accounting standards.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at senior levels.
• Experience working in a large, complex organisation with a matrix structure.
• A curious and proactive mindset, always looking for ways to improve processes and drive efficiency.
