This Program team has been established within the Department to deliver a number of initiatives to drive the Queensland Governments service delivery agenda. This includes commencement of the modernisation of the Department's registration and licensing environment as well as focusing on opportunities to improve transactional service delivery more broadly.
This team requires the skills of a Test Engineer to ensure the project can iteratively deliver the required outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and continuously improve testing processes and procedures.
- Collaborate, identify, design and develop associated test cases (Automated and Manual).
- Analyse user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
- Manage test case traceability and documentation.
- Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
- Actively contribute to the analysis of business specifications, solutions, estimations, and implementation decisions and contribute to acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity in agile practices, domain driven design and ability to work collaboratively across functions.
- Ensure a focus on automated testing in an Agile or Waterfall environment by:
- Executing automated testing strategies.
- Applying working knowledge of Continuous Integration, Continuous Development to provide automated approaches.
- Prepare appropriate status and completion reports concerning testing, including presenting an aggregate view of test utilisation to management.
- Playwright and Cypress experience (desirable).
- AWS and GitHub experience (desirable).
