- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple service centres across a defined geographical region, ensuring they run smoothly and supports the delivery of services to clients and the broader community.
- This role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of high-quality services by managing the infrastructure, resources, and systems that enable frontline teams to focus on client services and impact
- Manage the daily operations of the VFWCs ensuring that facilities, administrative functions, and staff support systems are effective and efficient, enabling the delivery of high-quality services to clients
- Facilities and operations management – ensure physical spaces are safe, clean, and welcoming, facilitate relationships with contractors, landlords, etc, ensure WHSW compliance, manage utilisation of meeting spaces and clinical rooms
- Office and Admin Management – oversee reception/front of house services, manage office supplies, oversee office policies and procedures
- Team Leadership – supervise and support team, provide training needs, act as point of contact
- Budget and Resource Management
- Service Delivery – work with program managers to ensure centre space is allocated as needed
- Support the development of fundamental processes to commence setting the standard of service operations in centres, including providing expertise in shaping the centre team functions such as reception duties
- Deliver and advance onboarding and induction processes for organisations using the centre for business operations
- Highlight effective communication skills through managing requests and relaying resolutions to a varied stakeholder group
- Travel to and between service centres may be required to provide direct support and oversight.
Successful Candidate:
- Needs to be proactive, a trouble shooter, highly organised, and comfortable managing a diverse range of responsibilities.
- Able to work in evolving environments and can professionally communicate with many stakeholders
- Experience in facilities management and operations experience (including WHSW requirements).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience managing office or facility operations.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within a community/health or not-for-profit environment is desirable
