As the Strategic and Planning Analyst you will be required to:

• Review relevant whole-of-government and the Department's strategy, policy, performance actions and planning documents to map strategic actions owned by the Department.
• Develop a tool (MS Excel or other) to map these strategic actions against the draft strategic plan, business plan and divisional plans.
• Use the tool to conduct analysis on the Department's enterprise plans, identifying any deficits or gaps in delivery.
• Support development of business and divisional plans, including alignment of activities to business capability mapping and risk mapping.
• Provide high level expert advice and recommendations to the Director, Enterprise Strategy Group and the Manager, Enterprise Strategy group on a diverse and complex range of issues relevant to implementation of an integrated policy and planning framework.
• Support the development of the policy and planning framework through mapping current and future state relationships and interdependencies between strategies, plans, policies, procedures and frameworks.
