Joining a large program of work with our Queensland State Government client, you will lead the development of technical design standards and specifications for audiovisual systems within the department.
This role will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution by provided clear, comprehensive and well-structured documentation. You will be required to work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technical specialists, external vendors and procurement to ensure all technical requirements are captured and accurate translated into design standards and technical specifications to be provided to project managers to include in competitive tenders.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Technical Specialists/Architects to develop and maintain high quality technical design standards, specifications and guidelines for court audio-visual systems suitable for inclusion in tender documents.
- Establish relationships, collaborate with, consult and influence both business and technical stakeholders to effectively discover, define, validate, prioritise and continuously manage requirements that translate into business benefits.
- Define, establish and enforce consistent standards for technical documentation across multiple projects.
- Undertake market research to understand industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices.
- Similar experience and demonstrated understanding of audio-visual technologies.
- Proficiency in using technical documentation tools and platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, Visio and potentially Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
