Joining our large, QLD State Government client, you will provide senior technical assistance to a range of ICT enabled initiatives and projects within the Branch. At times, you may also provide technical assistance as needed to other ICT related programs and internal activities being implemented within the Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads and contributes to the development of software and other technical designs in specific application, infrastructure or functional areas. Provides advice to ensure that appropriate ICT tools and methods are available, understood and employed.
- Works with operational and project teams and vendors to prepare and deliver technical plans, work packages for the provision/decommission of environments, implementation of standard offerings, and fulfillment of ICT governance obligations, including approved support models.
- Provides advice to their supervisor, senior management, teams and vendors on technical aspects of the solution, including development, integration, requests for changes, deviations from specifications, etc., contributing towards improvement efforts and implementing relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices (including security) per approved direction.
You will have demonstrable experience with large and complex Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory implementations and Identity, Access Management and Authorisation technology implementations.
You will be experiences across a hybrid Waterfall/Agile approach delivering cloud-based SaaS, COTS, and PaaS arrangements integrated to Enterprise Systems.
You will also have experience with one or more of the following:
- PowerShell
- Any Microsoft .NET language
- Tcl (TCL) as used with F5 iRules
- T-SQL (Microsoft Transact SQL)
