Are you an experienced Technology Transition Lead looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in a high-impact digital transformation project. This is a 6-month contract based in the Brisbane CBD, with the possibility of extension.
About the Role
As the Technology Transition Lead, you will drive the technical operational readiness efforts within the Digital Business Centre (DBC) division, preparing for the launch of the project. You will work closely with project teams to ensure operational and technology requirements for Microsoft Dynamics 365 support are met, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal disruption to operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and advise on support and service models, including third-party vendor support and operational workflows.
- Develop an operational framework with clear roles, responsibilities, and governance for Dynamics 365 support and development.
- Provide strategic input into data lifecycle management within the project.
- Assist in the establishment and operation of the Application Enhancement Committee (AEC).
- Oversee the design and implementation of the MSP support model, ensuring alignment with best-practice frameworks.
- Support project cutover, technical deployments, and hypercare issue triage.
- Supervise training plans for Pre-GoLive, Hypercare, and BAU Operational Testing.
- Lead the design of future IT structures, support models, and governance processes.
- Provide expert advice on operational impacts of wave releases, including business process changes, testing models, and bug resolution.
- Collaborate with teams to provide recommendations on Dynamics 365 Technology Architecture.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in IT transition leadership within large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its operational requirements.
- Experience in designing support models, governance structures, and IT frameworks.
- Expertise in technical deployments, cutovers, and post-go-live support.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
