Our very own Andrew Pyke was pounding the track in the early hours of Friday morning when he took on the Oxfam 100km walk to raise funds to tackle worldwide poverty. The grueling 100km walk begins at Mount Glorious becore navigating a range of steep ascents and decents before finally reaching its conclusion on the finges of Brisbane's CBD at Mount Coot tha.
Around 30% of the athletes fail to finish but not only did Andrew's 4 man team complete the race they finished in just over 24 hours and a repectable 18th out of 118 teams taking park (completing a distance of just over 107kms in total - bit thats a different story).
Andrew, the team at TROOCOO salute your efforts in a fantastic achievement for a truly superb cause.
Well done from us all.
