We are seeking an experienced Senior Learning and Capability Specialist to design, develop and facilitate initiatives to increase organisational capability within this strategic department.
Key responsibilities of this role:
• Applying contemporary learning, leadership and organisational development, change and human resource management processes across a regionally disparate workforce in a government context
• Initiating, leading and managing initiatives that contribute to improving organisational outcomes and fostering a culture of excellence in organisational development, including but not limited to:
• leadership development
• performance management, and
• inclusion and diversity.
• Effectively engaging with, facilitating and delivering virtual and face-to-face training to large groups of leaders and employees
• Undertaking research, consultation, training, policy development and evaluation which lead to organisational capability uplift and business improvement outcomes
• Effectively integrating project management, learning, leadership and organisational development methodologies to procure and coordinate or develop and deliver integrated,
aligned and engaging development solutions that build and enhance leader capability, performance and workplace culture.
• Applying objective, evidence-based methodologies to measure, evaluate and report outcomes and implement strategies to ensure continuous improvement
• Conducting research and analysis and preparing high level reports, briefing notes and other required correspondence on matters relating to learning, leadership and organisational development.
• Building effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to influence, promote and drive high performance initiatives and outcomes
• Developing, managing and reporting on online deliverables for training programs
• Developing and maintaining knowledge of new multimedia and design training tools, technologies and trends to ensure currency of online development modules
• Contributing to a positive and safe work environment by modelling conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical
